Supplies Needed

• Vanilla yogurt (one large container*) or vanilla pudding (one large box, prepared*)
• Food coloring
• 6 small bowls for mixing
• A clear cup or glass
• A spoon
• Whipped cream (optional)

*The amount you need depends on the size of the cups/glasses you are using.

Preparation

To make one parfait:

1. Scoop some of the yogurt or pudding into each of the small mixing bowls.
2. Add food coloring to each bowl to make each color of the rainbow and have your child mix them up:  red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple.  Show them how the colors mix to make new colors!
3. Scoop the colored yogurt or pudding into the cup in the order of the rainbow.
4. Top with a scoop of white yogurt/pudding for the cloud or if you are feeling really decadent, whipped cream!
