Mexican Pico de Gallo Recipe

Mexican Pico de Gallo Recipe

Pico de Gallo means "Rooster's beak" in Spanish, and is widely served in Mexico as a condiment (like salsa). Pico de Gallo is similar to salsa, but there is less sauce and more "chunk" in Pico de Gallo.

Since Pico de Gallo is not as liquid as salsa, it is also commonly used as a main ingredient in traditional Mexican dishes like tacos and fajitas.

Here is an easy version you can try with your kids, feel free to leave out the spicy ingredients if it makes it more palatable for your children!
