USA American Star Wreath
Have your older kids fold and cut their own stars, or pre-cut for younger children - either way, making a wreath out of red white and blue stars is a fun project and a great way to learn about the American Flag!
This wreath can hang on the wall, or can be worn as a crown!
Supplies Needed
- paper plate
- red, white and blue paper
- (or, make all white stars and have the children color them with red and blue crayons or markers)
- scissors
- double sided tape or glue
Preparation
- Cut out the center of the plate to make a ring
- cut your stars from the different colored papers (see instructions on how to cut a five-sided star using an easy folding technique)
- glue or tape your stars all around the edge of the paper plate to make your wreath!
TIP: By taping your starts end to end you can also make star streamers to hang around the room!
