Chinese New Year Paper Lanterns Craft

Chinese New Year Paper Lanterns Craft

Paper lanterns are very popular during celebrations in China, particularly during the Chinese New Year.  On the 15th Night of the 8th month of the Chinese calendar, Chinese people also celebrate the Parade of Lanterns – a traditional mid-Autumn festival in China where the streets fill with people, many of them children, proudly holding their illuminated paper lanterns.
