What We Offer
Circletime Kids offers parents, teachers and caregivers of young children fun and easy resources designed to introduce their kids to their own family traditions as well as other cultures and languages from around the world.
To access Circletime Kids cultural resources, you can visit our World Library to find all resources for a specific country in one central location, or to browse materials by category use the icon menu, each of which is described in detail below.
A new country is added each month to our World Library, and includes:

Traditional children's songs
Our children's songs and finger games from around the world are presented in an easy to view video format, performed by native speakers with English subtitles. Each song has the accompanying lyrics and translation to English listed online and available for pdf download, as well as a brief description of what we could learn of the origin of the song and the traditions associated with it.
Our traditional childrens song library is growing quickly, especially with your help - please consider videotaping and submitting your performance if you are a traditional song from your native country that you would like to share. |

Coloring Books
Our multilingual coloring books feature basic vocabulary terms from each language, along with images of landmarks and other items of national interest to that country - beautifully and simply drawn for your children to color.
As your kids color the pages and you talk with them about what they see, where that place is and what the people there are like, we hope that our cultural coloring books prove to be a helpful resource for you and your child.
Our bilingual coloring books are are presented in pdf format, for easy printing from any home computer (please review terms of use). We also offer bound coloring books for sale in our store.

Cultural Recipes
For each country we add to our World Library, we include a section filled with easy, fun recipes using simple ingredients that in some way relate to that country - a traditional cultural recipe, or perhaps a common snack given a fun twist by incorporating cultural ingredients or colors. With our Circletime Kids Recipes, as with all of our services and products, we strive to making bilingual, multicultural learning fun and easy for you and your children! |

Arts & Crafts Activities
For every country we add to our World Library, we include traditional crafts and activities from that culture, as well as fun activities that we brainstorm ourselves that may not be considered "traditional" but nonetheless offer a fun way to engage children and perhaps teach a little something about the culture being discussed. Our primary concerns when coming up with activites or accepting craft submissions are:
- Directly relating to the country or culture
- Simple & easy materials, construction and clean up
- Safe, environmentally friendly and non-toxic
- Fun for kids!

ABC's & 123's
Circletime Kids is proud of our ever growing library of the world's alphabets and basic counting - each is performed by a native speaker, and presented in an easy to view video streaming format. ABC's and 123's are also included on our cultural DVD's, which are available in the Circletime Store. |

Bilingual Conversational Dialogue
These user-friendly streaming videos include simple greetings such as asking and telling names, and the same nouns and verbs that are found in our coloring books - presented with native language subtitles for easy reference and your own language learning. We believe that by allowing you to learn and remember these terms easily, you will be better equipped to teach them to your children!
We hope to offer more comprehensive bilingual learning solutions in the near future, so we particularly appreciate your comments and feedback on this feature.

Lesson Plans
Currently under development, we will soon offer lesson plans relating to each country in our World Library. Librarians, preschool and kindergarten teachers, daycare providers and parents all can use these cultural lesson plans to assist them in teaching their children about places and people all around the world.
Each suggested lesson plan incorporates each of the previously mentioned Circletime Kids features - songs, coloring pages, snack recipes, craft projects and a basic language introduction - in an easily modifiable format that can be adjusted to fit any classroom or home situation.

Mulitcultural Children's Gifts
To maintain and continue growing the Circletime Kids library of free cultural billingual resources, we depend on income from the Circletime Store. In our store we offer our own Circletime Kids products as well as a wide selection of unique cultural toys, apparel, bilingual materials and other products that we hand select and feel represent the Circletime Kids mission.
In selecting our merchandise, we strive to represent and support artisans and manufacturers who share our commitment to using sustainable resources and fair trade practices.
In the Circletime Store we also are proud to offer cultural children's products that we design and manufacfture ourselves such as coloring books, bilingual DVD's, Circletime Kids Wear and other items that we have designed ourselves.
Circletime Kids supports efforts to educate the children of the world, so a percentage of proceeds from our store are donated to charities that share this commitment. |
