Fried Egg Dessert

Next time you have guests for dinner, have your children help you make this surprise dessert - and laugh at your guests reaction when you bring out these funny fried eggs!

Circletime Kids founder Rachel Addison got this recipe from her mother Mary, who likes to tell the story of how her new sister-in-law, during their first evening together, surprised her by announcing after dinner that they would be having "fried eggs for dessert!"

This is a sweet treat that is sure to bring a smile to your face, and your kids will love it!

Ingredients / Tools
  • 1 can peach halves
  • shortcake circles
  • whipped topping
Preparation
  1. Place a shortcake on a plate
  2. Coat with whipped topping, making a nice round "egg-white" shape
  3. Place a peach half, round side up, in the center!
