Statue of Liberty Crown and Torch
Dressing up like the Statue of Liberty is fun and easy!
Ingredients / Tools
- 2 paper plates
- green paint
- tape, glue or staples
- paper towel cardboard roll
- yellow tissue or construction paper
Preparation
- Sandwich the plates and cut out the centers to make the crown - try it on for size and adjust as needed.

- from the leftover centers of the plates, cut seven triangles to make the points of the crown

- glue, staple or tape the triangles to the back edge of one of the plates

- sandwich the triangles with the other plate, and secure the plates together with your adhesive

- paint the crown and the cardboard tube with your green paint
- after they are dry, crumple the yellow paper to make your fire and secure in the end of the cardboard tube.

- Finish your costume with a book (for the tablet) and a towel (for the robe)!
