Mexican Fiesta Flags
Colorful and delicate fiesta flags are used in Mexico as decoration for numerous celebrations including weddings and birthdays. Here is an easy and fun way to make fiesta flags to decorate your home or school!
What you'll need:
- Tissue paper – multiple colors
- Scissors
- String or yarn
- Tape
Preparation
- Cut the tissue paper into 12x12 inch squares
- Fold each piece of tissue paper in half twice so you are left with a square (or once again for a small rectangle for additional designs)
- Cut small designs along the folds
- Cut a long piece of string or yarn
- Unfold each piece of tissue paper and line along the string.
- Tape the top of each fiesta flag to your string, hang and enjoy!
