Quiche

Quiche is a baked dish consisting of eggs and milk in a pie crust. Quiche Lorraine named after the Lorraine Region in France adds just bacon to the egg mixture. However, you can include many things such as cheese, vegetables, meat and spices. Let your little one choose what to include in thier gourmet recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen pie crust
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • other optional ingredients: grated cheese (just enough to cover the bottom of the dish), meat, vegetables, spices

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Bake pie crust for 10 minutes and bring out.
  3. Beat together eggs and milk.
  4. If using cheese add your grated cheese as the first layer on top of the pie crust
  5. Add chopped veggies or meat.
  6. Add eggs until pie crust is full.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until firm.
  8. Let cool to temperature of your choice before serving.
