French Flag Toast

back to traditional French children's recipes

Painting on toast is an easy, fun, and delicious way to learn about any sort of idea - here's how you make the French Flag!

Ingredients

Small cups
Clean paintbrush
Food Coloring (red and blue)
Light colored bread
Milk

Preparation

Put about 1/4 cup of milk into two cups
Add enough food coloring to each to make brightly colored "paint."
Paint away! As your child paints with the brush, watch that the bread doesn't get too soggy.
When the masterpiece is complete, toast the breat and enjoy your colorful toast!
