Potato Stamp
China is the world’s top producer of potatoes so a potato stamp is a good way to introduce many Chinese concepts. We chose to make simple designs on our potato stamps but we’re sure your kids will have bigger ideas!
What you'll need:
- A medium to large size potato
- Butter knife, edge of a peeler, small spoon or toothpicks
- Paint for dipping or use an optional paint brush.
- Paper
Preparation
- Cut your potato in half.
- Use the butter knife, edge of a peeler, small spoon or toothpicks to make designs in your potato.
- Dip in paint or use a paint brush to spread paint on your stamp.
- Stamp away on your paper.
